And that’s not including a marketing budget or training platform.

$26K is a pretty big chunk of change, and here’s the question: “What do I actually get for spending all that money?”

The basic LifePath pitch is that by joining the program, you’re getting access to great personal development strategies and teachers that will help you achieve a real breakthrough in your life.

Now, I’m all for personal development and community-building amongst like-minded people. And many of the speakers involved in the LifePath Conferences seem very energetic and fun to be around.

But look closely and you’ll see that none of the big names in personal development are involved with LifePath Unlimited. Not the ones that major Fortune 100 companies trust, guys like Jack Canfield or Marc Victor Hanson.

And here’s the thing. I can go to a live 4-Day Tony Robbins event (including coursework, CDs, and the whole fire-walk experience) for only $600. I mean, compare 4 days live with the number one reigning personal development guru of our time, Tony Robbins, for $600, versus a 5 day conference with lesser-known speakers for $15,000.

The bottom line here is that if you’re looking for elite personal development, you can get far superior training, products and services, for a lot less money.

So when it comes to LifePath at $26K, you have to ask: why the big mark-up?

And the answer is simple. That’s how LifePath pays out their commissions.

If you were to pay $26K to buy all three products, 60% of your money would go directly to your sponsor in the form of commissions. In other words, it’s a bloated price-tag to pay the distributor, and the product itself is not worth anything near what you pay for it.

But the biggest flaw with LifePath Unlimited is the lack of online marketing savvy. This is an old fashioned company that doesn’t embrace cutting edge marketing techniques.

They’re still teaching new distributors to buy leads form a lead broker, send prospects to the corporate replicate site, and pitch their “warm” market of friends and family.

They’re not familiar with advanced marketing techniques, and there’s no comprehensive training platform or duplicatable marketing system in place for new team members to learn how to become successful marketers.

The lack of coaching and mentorship regarding online marketing strategies and techniques is probably the number on reason for all the LifePath complaints. And it’s a valid point. How can you build a successful business if you don’t know how to market effectively and leverage the power of automated systems?

At the same time, everyone is responsible for their own decisions, and a little due diligence would have uncovered that info before the seed money was spent. So you have to take all the complainers with a grain of salt.

For example, I have an Ameritrade account and I set it up to trade at market price. Right before and right after it shows real time price of a stock at say $ 52.8/share but when I say I want to buy, it executes the purchase and I buy at 53.08/share. Why don’t I get the 52.8 price when the real time quotes immediately before and after are cheaper?

The short answer is simply that your “order”(s) are not placed into market in real time. If you read through the agreement you have with the trading account being used . . . it will be in there somewhere.

It is a major stumping block with the on line trading world.

LegitScript.com, an online pharmacy verification service, and KnujOn.com, an Internet compliance company, have released a report analyzing Microsoft’s sponsored search results (online advertisements) for Internet pharmacies displayed on bing.com. The report indicates that 89.7% of the Microsoft Internet pharmacy advertisements reviewed by the authors were fake, illegal or fraudulent Internet pharmacies.

Most of the Internet pharmacy advertisements analyzed in the report did not require a valid prescription. The authors were able to order a prescription-only muscle relaxant from a Microsoft-sponsored Internet pharmacy advertisement without any prescription.

Also, the authors ordered another prescription drug from a Microsoft-sponsored Internet pharmacy advertisement that tested positive as counterfeit.

Search engine advertising programs allow website owners to purchase visibility on the first few pages of search results, where online ads are listed as “sponsored sites.” Because Microsoft receives revenue each time that an Internet user clicks on a bing.com sponsored site, it is generally accepted that online ads should not facilitate unlawful activity.

LegitScript is the only Internet pharmacy verification organization in the United States identified by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy as adhering to its standards for certifying Internet pharmacies as safe and legitimate. LegitScript President John Horton said, “We were able to purchase potentially addictive drugs without a prescription or any age verification via bing.com ads. We also received counterfeit medication. Microsoft profits from these illegal ads, which put Internet users at risk.”

KnujOn tracks Internet criminality and has succeeded in removing over 100,000 spam websites from the Internet. “These bing.com ads aren’t real pharmacies,” said Garth Bruen, KnujOn’s President. “These types of sites are usually the product of organized crime and vast illicit drug networks, many of them based in Russia and Eastern Europe, that deceive, defraud and poison Internet users.”

The study also found disclosure gaps in bing.com’s advertising program, showing how an advertisement that appears to have been placed by a legitimate Internet pharmacy links instead to a “rogue” online pharmacy selling counterfeit drugs.

“We urge Microsoft to fix this problem,” Horton and Bruen stated. “By continuing to letting these advertisements, Microsoft is facilitating prescription drug abuse and the proliferation of forge drugs, both of which put our most vulnerable citizens at risk.”

Five minutes into the call I knew this client was going to make my life miserable. The problem was, I already said “Yes.”

Into every professional practice falls a little rain, or better said…walks in a nightmare client. You start losing sleep by a couple of hours every night, you keep thinking about her project during your lunch time, and you feel like your life has been taken over by this client.

What a nightmare! Didn’t we go into the business for ourselves to enjoy it? Do we not have the choice of who to work with? Of course, we do! The challenge is in recognizing a difficult client early enough to say “No.”

So how do you do that? First, determine what “difficult” means to you. It may mean different things to different people. For example, while some professionals will be happy to take a phone call from a client between 9 and 5, others may have a special time set aside for phone calls. While some business owners love getting detailed specifications for a project, others may feel trapped and limited in their creativity.

1. What is a difficult client

To help you decide what things may be important to you, here are some of the most common traits of difficult clients:

- They do not respect your time

- They tell you how to do your work

- They always check up on you
